About
Nood Food lets you buy everyday groceries, plastic-free, right here in Llanfairfechan. A lot of us are trying to use less processed and packaged food, and create less plastic waste. This isn’t easy when local supermarkets are your easiest shopping option.

We buy in bulk, and pass the savings directly on to you. Most of our lines are organic, competitively priced, and we aim to stock locally produced products wherever possible. This helps to reduce food miles, and supports our local economy and community.

Zero-waste shopping can take a little longer than usual, but if you’re in a hurry, just drop your containers off with us and collect your goods the next day!​

How does it work?
There has never been a better time to reduce your plastic waste. We buy in bulk so that you can buy only the amount you need, and reduce your food and packaging waste.

1) In Store
​
You'll receive a warm welcome when you visit our store on Station Road in Llanfairfechan.
Bring your own empty containers and when you get here, weigh them, then fill them with your products of choice. We'll then weigh them again and subtract the empty container weight to work out your bill.

In a hurry? Drop your bag of containers off with a list for us to fill and we will contact you when they are ready to collect.

Alternatively, you can send us your order before visiting the shop, and we will get it ready for collection.
You can drop your clean containers off to be refilled, and we can supply dry goods in paper bags. We can refill liquids in your bottles when you come to collect your order. ​

We stock dried foods, herbs & spices, tea & coffee, fruit & veg, and cleaning and laundry refills, toiletries, and plastic-free household items.

Bread & Cakes
We also have bread and cakes delivered to the shop daily on a pre-order basis from Becws Môn & Tan Lan. Please order via Facebook or via our contact form by 3pm the day before you would like to collect it.
Deliveries from the bakery normally arrive by 11 am in store. Sourdough is only delivered on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. See the full selection here.
Fruit & Veg
Seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables are delivered to the store everyday, so quality produce is guaranteed. You can also order fresh herbs and other veg that might not usually be on the shelves - just ask :)
Organic Veg
We offer an organic veg box scheme run by Tyddyn Teg, a cooperative led, sustainable and regenerative vegetable farm located in Gwynedd. Please ask for more details.
Welsh Makers
We stock produce from Cosyn Cymru, an award-winning dairy in North Wales specialising in unpasteurised ewe's milk cheese and creamy yogurt. Other Welsh makers include:
